Our office will on reduced hours over the festive period, from 24 December 2018 - 4 January 2019.

Our on-call team will still be available for assistance at any point throughout this time, except for the Bank Holidays on 25 & 26 December 2018 and 1 & 2 January 2019.

New customer portal release

The team at Simon Driscoll Consultancy are always listening to our customers, encouraging feedback and seeking ways of improving the efficiency of our customer service. Earlier this year a comprehensive survey of our customers was undertaken to seek out ways in which we can provide greater value on a day to day basis.

As was recently highlighted in an interview with our CEO Simon Driscoll in CEO Monthly Magazine, in response to this customer feedback we have created a new online customer portal making it a more informative, engaging and intuitive digital interface.

As of 1 October 2018, all customers will have access to an online account and support portal that will enable them to see, at a glance, all aspects of their relationship with Simon Driscoll Consultancy. From logging and amending cases to reviewing contact details and contracts, the new online portal provides our customers greater control over their interactions with us and more transparency in the operations of our consultancy.

This feature roll-out will also provide all of our customers the opportunity to interact with Anne Douglas, our Learning and Development Manager, who will be working with each of our customers to introduce them and guide them through the new online portal.

This online support portal is the first phase of our operational improvement program, we will be rolling out. As we engage further with our customers and seek out more feedback, we will be continually finding new and better ways to conduct our business and provide value to our customers.


CEO of the Year Award

Congratulations to our CEO Simon Driscoll for his success in receiving CEO Monthly Magazine’s CEO of the Year Award for 2018 in the Leading Sales Consultancy category.

‘Receiving this award, with the company only recently entering into its second year, was a very pleasantsurprise and makes me proud of the work I have done in establishing the company and its reputation in such a short space of time,’ said Simon.

The CEO of the Year Award recognises the leadership that Simon has demonstrated while establishing his consultancy over the last 15 months and the effective integration of his team as it grows around him.

Simon continues, ‘To have my leadership qualities recognised in this way is gratifying and provides a nice indication that that my philosophy on how to run a productive and impactful business is on the right path.’

GO Awards 2018

Simon Driscoll Consultancy is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2018 GO Awards Scotland being held at the Marriott Hotel, Glasgow on Tuesday 23 October 2018, which highlight the achievements of those who demonstrate best practice in public sector procurement.

The 14 categories of awards celebrate the success of those across the public, private and third sectors who make a difference to the Scottish economy. Seven of the awards are newly introduced for 2018 demonstrating the increasing significance of procurement across the Scottish economic landscape.

Anne Douglas

Our team continues to grow with the arrival of Anne Douglas in the newly created position of Learning and Development Manager.

Anne holds over 15 years' experience in education and training across a variety of industries including publishing, education and construction and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

From onboarding of new customers to demonstrating new features of the Salesforce platform, Anne will be involved at all stages of our customer's Salesforce journey. Anne is looking forward to working with our customers to create training plans tailored to their business and user needs.

MacMillan Morning Tea

On Friday 28 September 2018 the team at Simon Driscoll Consultancy will be joining thousands of other companies throughout the UK by hosting a morning tea as part of the World's Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.

The company, as a Registered Salesforce Partner, is committed to contributing to the 1% pledge, a philosophy championed by global institutions such as Salesforce, that in

vites entrepreneurs and their companies to commit important resources (product, time and resource) to support integrating philanthropy into their business.

We encourage our staff, whenever possible, to take opportunities to support, advocate for, and engage with, charitable institutions. MacMillan Cancer Support provide invaluable advice, support and assistance to cancer patients and their families at all stages of a cancer diagnosis. From concrete financial and employment advice to support groups and nursing staff, MacMillan are there for thousands of people each year.

Leila Mouti

We recently welcomed Leila Mouti to our expanding team as a Salesforce Delivery Manager.

Leila joins the team as a certified Salesforce professional with a background in business analysis and project coordination. As a Salesforce customer before transitioning over to an administration role, Leila brings over 5 years of practical experience in the use of the Salesforce platform and is proficient in the full project management lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.

Leila is already making a positive impact on our customers and their understanding of Salesforce and has demonstrated the diversity and breadth of our team's capabilities from general admin support to the delivery of strategic advice.

Leila has also been instrumental in the development of our new online customer service portal, which will make communication and interaction with all of our customers easier, more accessible and more impactful. This new system is being rolled out throughout September.


Ross McGhee

We are happy to announce the appointment of Ross McGhee as the company's Chief Marketing Officer.

Ross is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing with 15 years of marketing, events and communications experience behind him, from many diverse industries, including media, tourism, the public sector, education, professional services and event management.

Ross has responsibility for all of our marketing, events, communications and social media activity and growing the Simon Driscoll Consultancy brand. Since his arrival we have launched a new look website, finalised sponsorships with Salesforce User event InspireEast and the Scotland Business Exhibition and undertook a company rebrand to meet our new needs as we continue to grow.

The event, based at the SEC, brings together over 150 exhibitors and is visited by over 1600 SMEs looking for advice, suppliers and information.

InspireEast is a one-day Salesforce community event on Friday 19 October 2018 in Cambridge.

Simon Driscoll Consultancy has partnered with InspireEast to sponsor the day which brings together Salesforce users from around the East of England to learn about all aspects of Salesforce.

With over 30 sessions with some of the best speakers from across the community, the aim of the event is to provide admins, developers and users with new ideas based on real-life experiences and practical understanding. The day will showcase business use cases, open surgeries and panel discussions to help all businesses get the most out of their Salesforce instance.
